During these unpredictable times, there isn’t much we can control, but we can control our safety and try to help those around us. With over 6500+ masks created and donated, the Mask Project took the initiative to make a difference, recruiting volunteers to sew masks for hospitals, shelters, long-term care homes, grocery stores, delivery services, and other essential services. Foresters “Make and IMPACT” is a campaign that allows members to provide financial support to communities in need towards good causes. As a Foresters member, I applied for this grant on behalf of The Mask Project, allowing for the purchase of a new fabric cutter to help them work more efficiently. This grant will aid those in need, and more importantly, keep them safe during these unprecedented times. I would like to commend both Foresters and The Mask Project for their amazing work. Stay safe everyone!
